Services for Opal Marie Elmore were held Saturday, March 6, 1993 at the Holman Chapel in Lebanon with Rev. Gary Longnecker and Brother Larry Richardson officiating.
Music by Virginia Piercy and Howard Howe, "Because He Lives, "When They Ring Those Golden Bells".
Howard Miller, violinist, and Gretchen Brown, organist.
Burial was in Mount Rose Memorial Park.

Opal Marie was born in Lyons, MO. on Apr. 20, 1906 to James Lytle and Vida Estella (Hough) Lambeth. On June 6, 1923 she was united in marriage to Ethan Ernest Elmore and to this union one son and three daughters were born.
She lived all her life in Laclede County area. She helped her husband run the Oakland Store for many years. She loved to cook and have people come to meals in her home. She also enjoyed raising cattle, gardening, sewing, playing piano and singing.
Opal was a long time member of the Moravian Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents,her husband Ethan on May 20, 1985,a sister, Edith Statten, and brothers, Wayne and Lewis. Opal is survived by a son, Keith of Denver, Colorado; three daughters, Carol (Kyle) Gibson, Marilyn(Bob) Vernon ,and Betty (Charles) Wagoner of Lebanon; two sisters: Faye Stone of Springfield, MO. and Gladys Maberini of CA; eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and many relatives and friends. She will be fondly remembered and missed by them all.
