1807 - A deed appears in Bulloch County, Georgia Plat Book (1797-1890), page 381, to Wiley Bird, dated April 1807, for 200 acres on Mincey Mill Creek.
During the years that followed, Wiley continued to acquire land, slaves, and other property. He was married to Edith Newburn, daughter of Thomas Newburn and Elizabeth Sparkman, on Feb 16 1808 in Bulloch County, Georgia. Their marriage license is located in a box on a shelf in the Bulloch County Courthouse.
