The body of Fred Alexander, age 28, arrived in Valley Mills Thursday morning from Clovis, NM where he died following an accident in the construction work on the Santa Fe railroad 3 or 4 days before. He is the son of Mr. Wm. Alexander of the Patton community.
At this writing the details of his death are not available and more than that he was struck and badly mangled by a crane used in the construction work he was doing. He had been employed in that work for 5 years. Funeral arrangements are not complete at this writing.
