Edith Johnson, 85, died Oct. 27, 1991, at the Morton County Care Center, Elkhart.
She was born Aug. 25, 1906, at Findlay, Hancock, Ohio, the daughter of Edwin and Mildred Staley Stall. An Elkhart resident for one year, moving from Augusta, she was a
homemaker. She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene, Augusta, and she received the distinguished service award from the church.
On Feb. 14, 1924, she married Clinton Johnson at Elkhart. He died June 14, 1966. Survivors include: two sons, Clifford M., Ponca City, Okla., and Boyd E., Rolla; a daughter, Alice M. Stall, Augusta; four brothers, Robert Stall, Bartlesville, Okla., George Stall, Wann, Okla., Carl Stall, Catoosa, Okla., and Raymond Stall, Oklahoma City; three sisters, Alma Wallace, Gretna, La., Mable McPherson, Ponca City, Okla., and Clara Brown, Bartlesville, Okla.; six grandchildren ; 19 great grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
