Survivors: his wife, the former Lucia Bielefeld; two sons, William J. Jansen Jr. of Shepherdsville and John H. Jansen; four daughters, Ann M. Matheis of Kankakee, Ill., Joan Reteneller, Sue E. Smith and Gay E. White; 17 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral: 10 a.m. Monday, Guardian Angel Catholic church, 6000 Preston Highway, with burial in St. Louis Cemetery.
Visitation at Ratterman & Sons-Bardstown Road, 3800 Bardstown Road, from noon to 9 p.m. Sunday.
Expression of sympathy: the American Heart Association or the donor's favorite charity.
