He served alongside many other Paiges, and according to Massachusetts Soldiers and Sailors in the War of the Revolution, served for Captain Timothy Paige's company and Colonel James Converse's regiment. George enlisted August 21, 1777, marched to Bennington on an alarm, and was discharged August 31, 1777.
