On the night of June 27, 2015 Cyril John- Michael "Mike" Branson peacefully passed away of natural causes at the Civic Hospital at the age of 88 after a long battle with Alzheimer's. He was with the British Army in Palestine, with the Gharkas in India, a Colonel with Canada's Royal 22 Regiment, and an executive director with the government. He was an amateur playwright, a painter, a musician, a racing car driver, and an athlete. Cyril was married to Shirley (nee Caruth) for 41 years and survived by his loving son. Clive.
