Julie Ann Harrison, age 41 of Rocky Mount was born on December 10, 1981 and died Friday, August 9, 2023. She is survived by her parents, Henry "Jack" Harrison and Gloria Harrison; paternal grandmother, Elise Law Harrison; along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. Julie was preceded in death by her grandfather, Cletis Clyde Harrison; and maternal grandparents, Johnny and Effie Holdren. She enjoyed her favorite sport WWE wrestling, music and spending time writing. She loved everyone and was always happy and loved her Lord above all. On behalf of Cletis, Gloria, Elise Harrison and the rest of the family we wish to thank the Doctors, Nurses, Carilion Home Health Care, Roanoke Memorial Hospital, Franklin Memorial Hospital and the Hospice team. Our hearts have been blessed by your great team effort, love and care in caring for our daughter, Julia Ann Harrison. In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial donation to the American Cancer Society or to any drug rehab program as Julie helped many with addiction. Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 2 p.m. Saturday with Pastor Earl Ragland officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park. Her family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
