Norman Joe Schini, 82, of Bremen passed away peacefully at 7:03 pm, Tuesday,
August 8, 2023 in Goshen Hospital.
Norm was born on May 21, 1941 to Daniel and Viola M. (Heuberger) Schini.
On November 10, 1962 in Bremen, he married Marvalene "Marty" Schini.
He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Marvalene "Marty" of Bremen;
son, Quintin Schini of Bremen; brother, John (Jan) Schini of South Bend
and brothers in law, Mike Hardy of Vicksburg, MI and Earl Cooper of Indianapolis, IN.
He is preceded in death by his parents, granddaughter, Dorian Schini and three sisters, Marlene Jagla, Lori Hardy and Carol Cooper.
Norm graduated from Bremen High School, class of 1959.
He worked at Ringle's Marathon during high school and after graduation.
From there, he worked for Borkholder Buildings as a construction crew coordinator,
White Farm Equipment as a test engineer and then WM Leman Co. for many years
as a field agent. Norm also cared for the grounds at Nappanee Missionary Church
for several years after his retirement.
Norm was a member of Nappanee Missionary Church, Michiana Farm Toy Club
and Michiana Mustang Club and SkyKnights R/C Airplane Club.
Visitation will be held from 3:00-7:00 pm, Tuesday, August 15, 2023 in Nappanee
Missionary Church, 70417 IN-19, Nappanee.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, August 16, 2023 in the church
with one hour of visitation prior. Burial will take place in New Paris Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to be made
to Nappanee Missionary Church, Goshen Cancer Center or Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
