Laverne Journal & News, 24 May 1972 - Mrs. Mary Edith Stough, a resident of Montgomery for three years & a native of Goshen, died at her home in Montgomery on Tues, 9 May, following an extended illness. Funeral services were held on Thurs., 11 May from White Chapel at 2 pm with burial followed in the Rocky Mount Cem. Survivors include the husband, James Oscar Stough - Montgomery; 2daus: Mrs. Paul Woodruff, Mrs. Thomas I. Stough, both of Montgomery; sister, Mrs. G. C. Jeffcoat-Goshen. 3 gch & one great-gch. Pallbearers were E.J. Turner, Dan Myers, Tommie Logan, Tom Green, Wallace Holcomb & George Davidson.
