OBITUARY-THE PAWNEE REPUBLICAN
John Linial Raper, age 45 years, five months and 23 days died at the Veteran's Hospital in Omaha, Nebraska.
Most of his life was spent in Pawnee County, and he had lived in Burchard since 1935. He attended the Burchard public school, and upon leaving school enlisted in the United States Navy. He retired in 1963 after 20 years of service.
Left to mourn his death is his mother; two sisters: Mrs. Lucile Ulrich, Steinauer, Nebr., and Mrs. Shirley Stevicks, Humboldt, Nebr.; three brothers: Bill, Pawnee City, Nebr.; Joseph, Omaha, Nebr.; and Robert, Kansas City, Mo., and many nieces and nephews, and friends.
Interment was in the Pawnee City cemetery with the American Legion participating.
