Thomas Tribune, Grandma Crowder mother of Mrs. John Shepherd and of John and Tom Crowder who live west of town, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Wicks, at Durham Texas, May 19th. The body was brought here for interment in the Elm Cemetery last week.
Grandma Crowder was one of the oldest residents of Custer County and was greatly loved by all who knew her. She was a noble Christian woman, having been devoted Christian since a very young girl.
Funeral services were held at the Elm Church, conducted by Rev. H. M. James.
