Lebanon - Allison H Bender Sr, 66, of 1100 Jackson Blvd died Thursday in Good Samaritan Hospital. He was retired from Bethlehem Steel Corp, an Army veteran of World War II, and a member of St Gertrude's Catholic Church. Surviving are his wife, Catherine Bender; two sons, Brian of Manheim, and Bruce of Maryland; four daughters, Kathleen Hoke and Susan Yurejefcic, both of Lebanon, Karen Wolfe of Jonestown, and Rebecca Barnes of Virginia; two sisters, Anna Peffley of Lebanon, and Emma Bender of Maryland; nine grandchildren; and several nephews and nieces. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in his church at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. There will be no viewing or visitation.
