Born to Jack A. Keane and Lydia (Saenz) Keane in Long Beach, California as the second of two siblings. Agnes was raised in and around Long Beach and took an Associate's Degree in Business from Long Beach City College. She took a position with Bank of America where she met her husband John C. Rowe who also worked for BOA. They were married on May 15, 1954 after a yearlong engagement. After the wedding they moved to their home in Lakewood, California where they lived for 60 years. Agnes continued working until shortly before the birth of their daughter. Their daughter Kathryn Agnes (Rowe) Jenks lives in Virginia. Agnes volunteered frequently at the Catholic school where Kathryn attended classes. She also was a loyal supporter of the Catholic Church over the years that she and John lived in Lakewood. Agnes' favorite activity was playing bridge and socializing with "the girls" of her bridge club. John and Agnes moved from their beloved home in Lakewood to Belmont Village in San Diego, CA in August, 2014. Agnes was preceded in death by her husband John and brother Jack. She is survived by Kathryn and by her brother's children and by John's siblings' children.
