Ena Combs, age 85, of London, Kentucky passed away on Friday, August 4, 2023.
She leaves behind two grandchildren, Emily Jewett & husband Brice, Trent Abner, all of London, KY; four great grandchildren, Annabelle Siler, Hadley Siler, Walker Jewett, Micah Deaton; one sister, Agnes Andrews & husband Jimmy of Dayton, OH; plus a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Combs; her parents, Clarence and Edna Chesnut; her daughter, Anita Abner; and by three siblings, Jack Chesnut, Glen Chesnut & Jimmy Chesnut.
Ena was retired. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, watching basketball and gardening. She was known to be a great cook and enjoyed cooking for her family. She will be missed by all who knew her.
The family of Ena Combs will receive family and friends on Tuesday, August 8, 2023 between the hours of 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home. A graveside service will immediately follow at Clark Cemetery in Manchester, Kentucky with George Davidson officiating. The pallbearers will be Ronnie Chesnut, Kevin Chesnut, Trent Abner and Brice Jewett. The family has entrusted House-Rawlings Funeral Home with the arrangements.
