Frederick Charles Kipping and Jessie Maud Kipping (nee Mauger)

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear Father, Frederick Charles Kipping on March 29, 2020 at Moncton Hospital, N.B., in his 89th year and the passing of our dear Mother, Jessie Maud Kipping (nee Mauger) on June 6, 2020 at the Salvation Army Lakeview Manor, Riverview, N.B. in her 90th year.

Fred and Jessie were married on July 6, 1954 in Glace Bay, N.S. They are survived by their five children, Bruce (Suzanne), Brenda, Susan (Lloyd), Jennifer and Robert and grandchildren, Jeffrey, Jessica, Mitchell, Erich, Gabriela, Alexei, Natasha, Faye and Daragh-Ann, and great-grandchildren, Daniel and Allison. As well, Fred is survived by his brothers Tom (Irene) and David (Donna), and Jessie by her sister Marie (late William) Cole and many nieces and nephews.

Fred's managerial position with Swift Canadian (later Gainers) relocated them to Ottawa, ON and Dollard-des-Ormeaux, QC. Jessie enjoyed being a homemaker to her family and provided home care to children of family and friends. In 1990, they moved to Riverview, N.B. where Fred worked for Ward Foods Ltd., and the Moncton Econo Lodge before retiring.

Fred and Jessie enjoyed a long and happy life together raising their children, and sharing a love of sports. They enjoyed a good card game and many nights were spent around the table with family and friends. Fred had a keen interest in planes and was thrilled to board a North American Harvard IV for a birds-eye view of Moncton in August 2012. Jessie's love of flowers, gardening and singing remained with her throughout her life.

Thank you to the medical staff at Moncton Hospital for Fred's care and to all the staff at the Lakeview Manor for their dedication and loving care of Jessie for six years.

A special thank you to Blaine and Heather Burgess of Riverview, N.B., for their friendship, compassion and assistance over the years.

Arrangements are under the care of Fair Haven Funeral Home, Moncton, N.B. (fairhavenmemorial.ca). A private family interment will be held at Capital Memorial Garden in Nepean, ON. Donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or The Salvation Army Lakeview Manor.

Together forever in our hearts.
