Per Federal Census records, William was the third of five children (three sons & two daughters) born to Frank F & Rebecca (Guthardt) Abb.

Per his Death Certificate, he was single when he died at the Mt. Baker Convalescent Home in Seattle. He was a retired machinist from the Naval Shipyard at Bremerton. He died at age 74 from generalized cancer included stomach cancer with metastasis.
