Blake Jerome Benefield, age 63, of Paragould, Arkansas passed away on Tuesday, August 1, 2023. He was born on Wednesday, April 6, 1960, in Memphis, Tennessee to the late Ales Eugene Benefield and Jennie Nell Skelton. Blake owned and operated his own big truck for a living. He was a member of Browns Chapel Baptist Church in Paragould, Arkansas. When he wasn't out on the road he enjoyed spending time in his garden, visiting friends, and having a good time.
He was survived by one brother, Derek Benefield (Sandy) of Russellville, Arkansas; two uncles, RB Skelton of Michigan and Glenn Grayhouse of Paragould, Arkansas; two aunts, Mary Earp (Gene) of Fort Lenardwood, Michigan and Carolyn Collins of Kenneth, Michigan; one niece, Casey Ripper; one nephew, Eric Benefield (Jessica); four great nephews, Jackson Benefield, Christian Ripper, Jasper Ripper, and Gage Ripper; three great nieces, Alexis Henry, Gracie Willingham, and Adeliane Ripper.
He was preceded in death by his dad, Eugene Benefield; grandparents, AJ and Eddyth Benefield and Clyde and Opal Skelton; one uncle, Glenn Ray Skelton; one aunt, Laverne Grayhouse.
