Barbara "Jeanne" Apel Roetker peacefully passed away on August 2, 2023, at her home in Warr Acres, Oklahoma. Jeanne was born in Oklahoma City on October 4, 1931, to Frank and Sylvia (Bruce) Apel. She was their first child! Jeanne attended Classen High School. She married the love of her life, Paul C. Roetker Jr. on April 18, 1953, and settled in Warr Acres and had two children.

Jeanne worked in the Payroll Department at Southwestern Bell Telephone Company until retiring in 1992. She and Paul enjoyed many sightseeing trips in their 5th Wheel trailer and often went to Lake Texoma to visit family members and play on the lake. Jeanne was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother!

Jeanne enjoyed traveling, sewing, and knitting, was a great cook and loved tending to her plants and flowers. She also was an avid collector of antiques including Yellow Vaseline Depression Era Glass. She was a member of Southwestern Bell Pioneers and attended Cherokee Hill Baptist Church Senior Exercise Group

Jeanne was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband, Paul, sister Fran Wallace and brother Bruce Apel, brothers in law Charles Wallace, Wayne Hammon, James Roetker and Andrew Roetker and sisters in laws Patricia Roetker and Louise Greer.

She is survived by daughter Toni Millhorn of Allen, Texas, son Don Roetker and wife, Donna of Piedmont, OK, Grandchildren, Shane Millhorn, Heather and Reyes Silva, Kyle and Jamie Roetker and Kelly Roetker, Great-grandchildren Kaitlyn and husband David Guiterrez, Dylan Silva and Addyson Silva, and Great-Great Grandchildren, Luke, Landen and LilyAnn Guiterrez, Sister in law, Mary Hammon and brother in law Thomas Roetker and wife LaDonna Roetker, and many nieces and nephews and dear friends.
Jeanne will be greatly missed!
