Felisitas P. Suarez, 72, of Fort Wayne, passed away Thursday, April 3, 2008, at Hospice Home surrounded by her loving family. Born June 11, 1935, in Chesterfield, Texas, she was the daughter of the late Felix and Tomasa Pena.
She was a bus driver for Fort Wayne Community Schools and a member of Templo El Lirio De Los Valles where she was the church secretary and volunteer for religious education.
She is survived by her husband, John O. Suarez Sr. of Fort Wayne; daughters, Clarissa S. (David) Carpenter and Patricia S. (Feliciano) Mendez, both of Fort Wayne; son, John O. Suarez Jr. of Fort Wayne; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Funeral service is 10 a.m. Monday at Templo El Lirio De Los Valles, 2032 Morris St. Pastor Pedro Aguirre officiating. Calling is from 1 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road. Entombment in Covington Memorial Gardens. Memorials to her beloved church.
