Michael Joseph Bowman, 69 of Seymour, passed away Sunday, July 30, 2023 in Wichita Falls.
Memorial services will be held on Friday, August 11, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at the Harvest Christian Fellowship with Rev. Sonny Smart officiating. Family and friends will gather on Saturday, August 12, 2023 at Danny Hrncirik's Cabin at Round Timber for a BBQ and fishing.
Mike was born on January 2, 1954 in Seymour to O.V. and Agnes Vincent Bowman and attended Seymour schools. He was a veteran of the US Army serving from August of 1971 until October of 1973. Mike worked as a general contractor in roofing in and around Seymour. He was also a truck driver in Georgia and trained service dogs. In the late 1990s, Mike moved back to his hometown of Seymour. He had a love for fishing and enjoyed being around his dear friends.
He is survived by 2 daughters, Kelly McCrocklin of San Antonio and Casey Bowman of Wichita Falls; 3 sisters, Patsy, Christy and Laurie and a host of friends.
