A double funeral took place at Liberty church Monday, when the funeral of Gale Ross, who died June 26th, and the infant child of Archie Smalley, who died June 27th, was preached by the Rev. D. A. Shyutt of the Perry M. E. church. Although it was a rainy, muddy day, a large concourse of sorrowing firends followed the remains to their last resting place in Oak Ridge cemetery. The bereaved ones have the sympathy of the entire community in this their sad bereavement; but may they live in hope that some day they will meet them on that other shore where all is glory and where death and sickness are no more.∼infant/Archie SMALLEY
