JEFFERSONVILLE EVENING NEWS OBITUARY – 11/16/2000
Funeral services for Kendall A. Hottell, 90, of Clarksville, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 18, at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home, Georgetown, with burial in Wolfe Cemetery, Georgetown. He died Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2000, at Westminster Health Care Center, Clarksville. He was a native of Harrison County, a retired dairy farmer and a member of Christ United Methodist Church in Georgetown. Survivors include his wife, the former Edna Rochner; a daughter, Darla Welsh; a son, Kendall L. Hottell; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Visitation at the funeral home will be from 1 to 9 p.m. Friday, Nov. 17, and after 8 a.m. Saturday. The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to Christ United Methodist Church, Georgetown.

Kendall A. (Gus) Hottell, 90, formerly of Georgetown, died Wednesday at the Westminster Health Care Center in Clarksville. He was a native of Harrison County and was born on December 14, 1909 to George and Maude Garriott Hottell. He was a retired dairy farmer and a member of Christ United Methodist Church in Georgetown. Survivors include his wife, the former Edna Rochner; a daughter, Darla Welsh of Georgetown; a son, Kendall L. Hottell of Southport; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Services are 1 p.m. Saturday at Gehlbach and Royse Funeral Home in Georgetown with burial in Wolfe Cemetery in Georgetown. Visitation is 1 to 9 p.m. tomorrow and after 8 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Memorial gifts may go to the church.
