HACKER, Owen Emmer, age 75, of 1621 Benson Dr., passed away Saturday. Survived by his wife, Mary Katharine; 2 daughters, Mrs. Ruth Millhoff, of Cleveland and Miss Marianna, of Dayton; 5 sons, Homer, Robert and David all of Dayton, Dr. Vernon, of Cleveland and Warren of Cleveland deceased; 18 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren.
He was employed at the Stanley Manufacturing Co. for 30 years, with Reynolds & Reynolds Co. in the Art Dept. A member of the First Brethren Church for 54 years and also a deacon for 30 years and trustee of Grace College and Seminary Board, past president O. S. & S. O. Home Ex-Pupils Association, Xenia, O.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Grace College and Seminary Library, Wanona Lake, Ind. Funeral services 2 p.m. Tuesday at the First Brethren Church at the corner of Philadelphia and Earlham Dr., Rev. G. Forrest Jackson officiating. Burial Glen Haven cemetery. He will lie in state at the church from 12 noon until time of services. Friends may call at the Banta Funeral Home, 3419 W. Third St. Monday 3-5 and 7-9 p.m.
