Patricia Sue Barnett Shepherd, affectionately known as Bosco, was born on November 18, 1976, in Claremore Indian Hospital, Claremore, Oklahoma, and passed away on July 8, 2023, in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 46. Known for her loving nature, fascinating personality, and her kindness, she left a lasting imprint on the hearts of all those who knew her.
Patricia was preceded in death by her niece, Bethann Barnett; paternal grandparents, Myrtle Harjo and Hixie Barnett; maternal grandmother, Elizabeth King; nephew, Gavin; and one sister, Angela. But her spirit lives on through her cherished family members who survive her. These include her daughter, Taylor Shepherd; her mother, Betty Shaw; father, Billy Barnett; sisters, Mary and Yvonne Barnett and Laura Frenchman; brother, Josh Barnett, aunts; Patty Barnett and Betty Lazano; uncles, Kenneth, Wesley, and Sandy Barnett; nieces, Kirsten, Sumer, Brandie, and Sadie; nephews, Randy, Thomas, and Shawn-D, and many other family members and friends deeply close to her.
Patricia's education from Weleetka High school, where she graduated in 1995, helped shape her into a well-rounded individual with experiences in basketball, band, and cheerleading. After school, she stepped into family life getting married and welcoming her beloved daughter, Taylor. Later, she retired in July of 2007, dedicating her time to family and the activities she loved.
Patricia's interests were diverse and reflected her warm and welcoming personality. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and had a soft spot for camping. She also held a special place in her heart for children, demonstrating a particular fondness for newborn babies.
Patricia was a member of the Springfield United Methodist Church in Okemah.
