John Jesse Ladd III, age 69 of Bennington, NE passed away on Thursday, July 27, 2023 at the Veterans Affairs Medical Hospital in Omaha, NE.
John was born on September 15, 1953 to John J. Ladd Jr. and Betty M. (White) Ladd in Omaha, NE.
He was raised and schooled in many different locations as his father was in The United State Air Force, but did graduate High School in Nehawka, NE with the class of 1972.
John entered the US Navy in 1973, serving for six years, then he returned to Murray, NE for a time, then he worked in civil service for the Thomas Fitzgerald Veterans Home in Bennington, NE, where he also resided until the time of his death.
He is survived by his two brothers Henry Ladd of Murray, NE, and David Ladd of Bennington, NE; three Nieces Ellen Ladd of Murray, NE, Melisa Fix and Dan of Marion, KS, and Lori Verdict and Randy of Lee's Summit, MO; and one nephew Justin Jones of Kansas.
John was preceded in death by his parents: John J. Ladd Jr. and Betty M. Ladd.
Military Rites will be conducted by the U.S. Navy Reserves.
