Roadie. Born Bruce Anthony Berry in Los Angeles, he is the younger brother of musician Jan Berry (Jan & Dean). His father William was an aeronautical engineer who worked with industrialist Howard Hughes on the building of the Spruce Goose airplane. Bruce served as a roadie for Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young (CSNY) and for each of the members individually. Died as a result of a cocaine-heroin overdose. Neil Young used his story along with Danny Whitten's (Crazy Horse) story as the theme for Tonight's the Night, the title track on his 1975 album of the same name.
