Funeral services for Verna Mae Boyd, 87, of 645 Locust Street, Colorado City, Texas, have been scheduled for 10 a.m. on Monday October 7 at the Kiker-Seale Funeral Home with Dr. Ted Spear officiating. Burial will be in the Colorado City Cemetery under the direction of Kiker-Seale.
Mrs. Boyd passed away Friday, October 4, in Hamilton, Texas.
She was born October 05, 1903 in Lamar County.
Mrs. Boyd was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church of Colorado City. She was preceded in death by her husband E. P. Swenson Boyd; and her parents Joseph and Minnie Love.
Survivors include three sons, Scott Boyd of Leander, Jamie Boyd of Canyon Lake and Jerry Boyd of Babson Park, Florida; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
