When her husband retired from the railroad, they moved to Denver, CO to be near their only daughter. With the help of their son John, they were able to purchase a home, where they resided when she passed away.
She was such a special person to her family. She listened to her grandchildren's problems, never scolded nor criticized, always ready with a loving smile and assurance of her love for them.
When the first TV was purchased, she became a wrestling fan. She loved to cook, sew, crochet, knit, work jigsaw puzzles, and lovingly taught sewing skills.
She is survived by her loving husband Ernest, 3 sons Clyde, James, John, daughter Helen, 9 grandchildren, Barry, Lesley, Pamela, Carolyn, David, Barbara, James, Judith, and Robert.
She is buried in the family plot in San Bernardino, CA.
