Joseph David "JD" Biela, Jr, passed to his heavenly home on Wednesday, July 19, 2023, just 6 days shy of his 77th birthday.

He was born in Floresville, Texas, July 25, 1946, to Joseph David Biela, Sr. and Mary F. Biela (Moczygemba).

JD was the proud owner of Biela's Glass & Aluminum Products, Inc., taking over after his father in 1980. He ran his company with outstanding leadership, integrity and a commitment to his customers, vendors, and employees.

JD's true love was his family. He was married to his love for 57 years and together raised three daughters, gained a couple of "bonus" sons, and became Popo to six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

JD loved the outdoors, spending time in his garden and enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was a kindhearted man, always ready to help in the church or in his community. It only took a phone call, and he would be there to help in any way he could. He was a great husband, father, popo, friend, leader, and mentor.

JD is preceded in death by his parents, and his children, Michelle Biela Hagen and Joseph David Biela, III.

A visitation will be held Monday, July 24, 2023, from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Finch Funeral Chapel.
