SPRINGFIELD - A memorial service and visitation will be held from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, March 19, at Poole-Larsen?Funeral Home in Eugene for Paul "Jake" Bourassa of Springfield, who died March 15 of respiratory failure. He was 69.
He was born Nov. 10, 1938, in Shawnee, Okla., to Marion and Mary Blackburn Bourassa.
Bourassa graduated from San Bernardino High School in California. He worked as a roofer.
Survivors include two sons, Joseph of Klamath Falls and Todd of Springfield; four daughters, Mary Jo Langford and Joell Bourassa, both of Alaska, Terri Bourassa-Sullivan of Springfield and Kathy Jo Bourassa of Phoenix, Ariz.; three stepsons, Timothy Wolford of Springfield, Royce Mello of Redlands, Calif., and Vincent Wolford of San Bernardino; a stepdaughter, Holly Wolford of Merino Valley, Calif.; a sister, Jean of Colton, Calif., and a brother, James Bourassa, of Roswell, N.M.; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
