Edna Mae Corbett was my mother in law. She was very well known in Logan WV for being such a caring person. She raised her children & helped to raise so many more children. She was in the choir & could sing so well & spirit filled that it could make you cry. Edna was in a housefire that happend 2/23/1998 & she lived in a burn unit for 6 weeks after the fire. She was 81 years of age at her passing. She & 3 other family members died from that fire. Her grand daughter Jamie Corbett passed that night, along with Jamie's daughter Audrey & Jamie's sister baby T'Keyah. 11 months before the fire Edna's grand daughter Charisse was murdered. Edna had known heart ache & trauma her whole life but was an excepitional example of courage & bravery ! MaMa I am so sorry Yvonne said what she did to you & put you through all she did. None of us deserved what she did to us but I am grateful that G-D is & will always be in complete charge. Rest in sweet peace in YAH's safe arms !
