Beloved husband of 69 years to Joanne (nee Twiggs).
Loving father of Joe (Karen), Michael (Maureen), Matthew (Ann) and Donna Sopko (Mike).
Loving grandfather of Christina, Brianna (deceased) and Joey; Michael, Michael Boberg and Clare (Tommy); Sean and Brendan; Megan (Joe) and Katie; great grandfather and Gigi of Alexis, Ashton and Skye; M.J., Joe and Monroe; Brady.
Brother of the late Arthur (Mary Jane).
Don was a 1949 Graduate of St. Ignatius High School where he played basketball and was a boxing champion.
He was a US Airforce Veteran, former Vice President of the Higbee Co. and most recently worked at Metro Toyota. He coached youth sports for St. Christopher and Rocky River Youth Sports most of his adult life.
