Micheal Adam Warnaca, the son of Carl and Diana (Sickles) Warnaca, was born April 4, 1980 at the Cass County Memorial Hospital in Atlantic, Iowa and died in an automobile accident south of Interstate 80 on Highway 71 in Cass County, Iowa on July 14, 2023 at the age of 43 years, 3 months, and 10 days.

Micheal was baptized and confirmed at the United Church of Christ in Fontenelle, Iowa. The family lived in Massena, Iowa for a number of years, then moved to Brayton, Iowa. Micheal attended Kindergarten through fourth grade in the Massena Community Schools. He then studied at the Exira Community Schools where he played football and played the coronet in the band and received the John Phillips Souza award. He graduated from the Exira High School with the Class of 1998.

Micheal worked with Matt Mills trimming trees and also helping Mitch Boysen Construction when needed. He then was employed by Henningsen Construction pouring concrete. Later he worked for John Wick Homes traveling around Iowa.

In 2012, he married Amanda McLeran at the Audubon Church of Christ. They were blessed with three children, Katelyn Ann, Jack Micheal, and Charlie John.

Micheal attended the Audubon Church of Christ. He loved all animals especially his dogs, cats, and cattle. He loved the Kansas City Chiefs, the Iowa Hawkeyes, and Nascar. But above all he loved spending time with his children and being involved in all of their activities.

Micheal was preceded in death by his grandparents; Albert and Mary Ann Warnaca, Charles and Goldie Sickles; his Aunts Charlene Kimm and Janice Dickerson; his Uncles Ed Niesen, Tom Hughes, Richard Dickerson and Duane Dickerson.

Survivors include his children Katelyn Ann Warnaca, Jack Micheal Warnaca, and Charlie John Warnaca all of Exira, Iowa; his parents Diana Warnaca of Brayton, Iowa and Carl Warnaca of Fremont, Nebraska; his brother Matthew Warnaca and girlfriend, Cheryl Zinke and his niece Samantha Jo Warnaca all of Audubon, Iowa; his girlfriend, Ashley Andersen and her children Ethan Andersen, Jace Andersen, and Bailey Hansen all of Exira, Iowa; his niece Hayden Hansen of Brayton, Iowa; his father-in-law and mother-in-law Mark and Paula McLeran of Exira, Iowa; Aunts, Uncles, cousins, along with many other relatives and friends.

The family will meet with friends Friday evening, July 28, 2023, from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the Kessler Funeral Home in Exira, Iowa. Funeral services will be conducted by Pastor Heath Hansen on Saturday morning, July 29, 2023, at 10:00 am at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church in Audubon, Iowa. Interment will be in the Summerset Township Cemetery near Fontenelle, Iowa at 3:00 pm. The casket bearers will be T. J. Hansen, Roger Schmidt, Mitch Boysen, Tim Gossman, Robert Malloy, Mike Hansen, Dusty Riesgaard, and Dustin Ferguson.

To honor Micheal, the family requests that everyone wear either a Nascar shirt or their favorite sports team shirt to the funeral.
