Mr. James Olin Cunnup,63 of Yorktowne St., died Wednesday August 21, 2002 at his residence.
A graveside service with the masonic Rites will be held 3:00 P.M. Staurday August 24, 2002 at Unity Cemetery with Rev. Jerry Phillips officiating.
a Native of Fort Mill, S.C. Mr. Cunnup was a son to the late Thomas Alexander Cunnup and Grace Bennett Cunnup. Mr. Cunnup was retired from Delta Scales after 26 years and was a US Air Force Veteran. He was a member of Catawba Lodge # 56, where he served 3 times as master, York Rite Mason, Scottish Rite Mason, Hejaz Shrine Temple, Great Falls Shrine Club, American Legion Post # 43 and Fort Mill Chapter #4 Order of Eastern Star and was Methodist Faith.
Survivors include his wife, Charlene Cunnup of the home, one son: James Thomas Cunnup of the home , two brothers: Rev.Marion Pressley of Rock Hill, Bob M. Cunnup of Fort Mill, two sisters: Helen Williams and Avie Sloan both of Fort Mill (1) Granddaughter Brittany Nicole Cunnup of Rock Hill.
The family will receive friends from 3-5 and 7-9 at the home,102 Yorktowne St.
