George Myron Wimmer was a retired carpenter who died at the Gallatin County Rest Home January 14,1963. He came to the community 53 years ago. He married Victoria Weeks in Creston, South Dakota. They had two children, Jay Wimmer who died in 1962 and H Verne who died in 1930. His wife died in 1952.
He is survived by a daughter-in-law Mrs. Jay (Andrea) Wimmer of Anaconda; a brother Sam Wimmer of Spokane; one granddaughter Joyce and one grandson Kenneth; six great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
