Mrs. Mary Frances Davis, 76, died Saturday, May 6, 2006, at her residence in Flomaton. She was a life long resident of Flomaton where she attended Little Escambia Baptist Church. During her working years, she was a telephone operator for BellSouth. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Davis; her parents, William and Pauline McConnell; her brother, Bill McConnell and her sister, Julia Johnson.
She is survived by a son, Charlie Frank (Jenny) Davis Jr. of the Phillipines; a daughter, Kathy Gartman of Mobile; a sister Ouida Starbuck of Mechanicsville, Md.; three grandchildren Leann, Ashley and Kyle Hellinger and two great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Thursday, May 11, from 9 a.m. until service time.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 11, at 11 a.m. at Flomaton Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jerry Keese officiating. Burial will follow at Flomaton Cemetery with Flomaton Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers will be Lavon Johnson, Lorne Johnson, Chris McConnell, Greg Starbuck, Bobby Locklier and Larry Salter.
