He was born April 20, 1938 in Cleveland and had been a Berlin Hts. resident for the past 23 years moving from Amherst Twp.
Bob was a veteran of the US Army. He worked for the UA Local 42 Plumbers, Steamfitters, HVACR Techs, & Marine Pipefitters as a pipefitter prior to working for Ford Motor, Avon.
He was a member of Harbourtown Community Church, Vermilion, UAW Local 2000 and UA Local 42. He enjoyed fishing, reading, and working in his yard.
He is survived by his son, William (Sara) Hasley of Kipton; daughters, Paula (Neil) Koster of Wakeman, Patricia (Mark) Stull of South Amherst and Peggy (Joseph) Armbruster of Amherst; grandchildren, Calvin, Clifford, Andrea, Alicia, Will and Claire; and great grandchildren, Liam, Layla, and Lily.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary (nee Belcher) Hasley in 2018; parents, William and Mabel (nee Bonnett) Hasley; and his brother, Richard Logue.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 16, 2023 from 3-7 p.m. at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio. Funeral services will be Monday, July 17, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Pastor Jim Cooper will officiate. Interment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, Vermilion where Military Honors will be presented.
