W.W. Fry, 80, a former northern Wisconsin lumberman, who a number of years ago operated saw mills in Rhinelander and Medford, died at his home in Whiteson, Oregon. He is survived by his wife, one son, Thomas G. Fry, and a daughter, Mrs. Laura B. Kidder, all of Whiteson. Fry was one of the first county treasures in Taylor County.
***He and his sister Annabella were taken to Waupaca to be raised after their fathers death. They were raised by Asa and Fannie Marian Dewey (of Rutland, New York). Asa and Fannie were not William and Annabella's parents. We know George Bell was the father but undetermined who the mother is at this posting.
