oretta (Joy) Calvert died July 10, 2023, at her home in Twentynine Palms. She was 92 years old.
Mrs. Calvert was born Jan. 10, 1931, in Indiana. She lived in California for 66 years.
She was a nurse and business owner. A member of the Order of the Eastern Star and the Citizen Patrol, Mrs. Calvert loved delivering parts for the family business and shopping at second-hand stores.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 61 years, Bud Calvert, her sister, Mary, her son Bryon Calvert and her grandson Michael Calvert.
She is survived by sons, daughter , 11 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
