Clyde Sidney Plummer, Jr., age 84, died Tuesday, May 25, 2021, at his home in Mims, Florida.
Clyde Sidney Plummer, Jr. was born in Belmont, Massachusetts, and came to Brevard County, Florida, in 1969. Clyde served in the U.S. Airforce as an aircraft mechanic. After serving, he worked as a machinist for several manufacturing companies in Brevard. Clyde volunteered as Commander of the North Brevard Honor Guard for many years and coordinated and rendered military honors for hundreds of those who served in our military.
Clyde Plummer is survived by his children, Winifred Mary Plummer Kittles Tumblin Brewer, also known as Winnie Brewer and her husband Stephen Max Brewer, also known as Steve Brewer, of Titusville, Florida; sons, Clyde S. Plummer, III of Orlando, Florida, William Plummer and his wife Rose Plummer of Merritt Island, Florida, Lea Plummer of Palm Bay, Donna Robare and her husband Jeff Robare of Titusville, Florida, Kevin Plummer and his wife Kimberley Plummer of West Leechburg, Pennsylvania, and Christine Mowry and her husband Troy Mowry of Deatsville, Alabama, sixteen grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. Clyde was preceded by his wife Shirley Ann McCullough Speaker Plummer, whom he married in 1983.
A memorial service will be celebrated at North Brevard Funeral Home at 11am Saturday, June 12, 2021. The family will receive friends one hour prior. Interment with military honors will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.
