Nadine Lorene (Block) Smith of Anna, Texas, passed away on December 24, 2018, at the age of 94. She was born on her family farm on July 26, 1924, to Carl E. and Pearl Corrine (Jefferson) Block in Walnut, Nebraska. Nadine finished high school in Oakland, California and then attended beauty school. She met William Smith at Sweets Ballroom in Oakland, California. They married on June 21, 1943 in Martinez, California. Nadine and Bill traveled the world with missionary work and together they pastored a church in McKinney, Texas. She retired at the age of 74. Nadine spent her life loving and supporting her husband as they served together in ministry.

She is survived by her sons, Larry Smith and wife, Lyn of Mesa, Arizona, Richard Smith and wife, Eberle of Rockwall, Texas and Keith Smith of Whidbey Island, Washington; daughter, Phyllis Wiuff and husband, Bruce of McKinney, Texas; grandchildren, Zack Smith, Will Smith and wife, Joy, Christopher Smith and wife, Alissa, Sheryl Norris and husband, Rick, Travis Smith and wife, Yumiko, Aaron Smith, Eric Wiuff, April Propst and husband, Jeff, Robert Wiuff and wife, Alissa, Nathan Wiuff, Austen Kennedy and wife, Nidnoi; great-grandchildren, Ava Smith, Ross Smith, Caiden Smith, Kiyah Smith, Elizabeth Norris, Scarlett Norris, Eliot Propst, Clara Propst, William Propst, Madeline Askins, Emma Wiuff, Willow Wiuff; and many nephews, nieces and cousins. Nadine was the last surviving member of her family of 13 siblings.

Nadine was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Pearl Block; husband, Dr. Bill Smith; sons, Timothy Smith and Brian Smith; and daughter, Susan Smith.

The family will receive friends during a visitation on Thursday evening from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013.
