Jim retired from D. Patrick in the body shop. He formerly worked at Eissler's Body Shop. After retirement, he was employed for Comaier Services as a security guard. He loved tinkering with cars and could fix anything. He liked to fish and enjoyed listening to country music.
Jim is survived by daughters and their husbands, Dottie (Fred) McDonald, Joann (Kenny) Shaffer and Sherry (Mike) Pennington all of Evansville, sister Vernetta Brown and brother Kenneth Myers, both of Fredonia, Ky. 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Jim was preceded in death by his son, Jimmy W. Myers on May 2, 2004, and his wife of 63 years, Lillian Myers on May 19, 2004.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m.. Saturday, August 7, 2004 Rev. Gary Lanham officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. Friends may visit from 9 to 11 a.m. on Saturday.
