Dolly C. Leigey, 82, of Karthaus, PA died Saturday, March 29, 2008 at the Clearfield Hospital. Born August 21, 1925 in Lock Haven, PA, she was the daughter of Harry E. and Sara Kathryn (Englert) Harbach. She was a homemaker and had also worked as a seamstress all of her life. She was a member of Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church in Karthaus. She was a 1943 graduate of Sugar Valley High School in Loganton. She was a member of the Leigey Renaud Post #8386 Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxillary and had worked at the Karthaus Food Bank since 1984. She is survived by three children; Ronald S. Leigey, Sr. and his wife Judy of Frenchville, Donna L. Lucas and her husband Herb of Karthaus and Judith A. Young and her husband Roger of LaJose, seven grandchildren; Robin Leigey, Ronnie Leigey, Elliott Young and his wife Teresa, Ryan Young, Amiee Taylor and her husband Scott, Heather Lucas Corl and her husband Bill and Troy Lucas. Also surviving are three sisters; Betty Lou Ruhl of Loganton, Shirley Ida Renninger of South Williamsport and Dorothy June Laubach of Loganton, two sister-in-laws Anna Mae Harbach of Lewisburg and Christine Harbach of Antes Fort, PA as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Lawrence E. "Larry" Leigey whom she married on August 31, 1946 and who died on January 18, 1999, a step-son Richard Leigey, three brothers; Harry Edward Harbach, Jr., Rev. Robert Cyrus Harbach and David Lewis Harbach and a son-in-law Steve Heichel. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, April 2, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. at the Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church with Rev. John Fraser officiating. Interment will be in the Keewaydin Cemetery. Friends will be received at the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, Inc. on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 P.M. and at the church on Wednesday from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of services.
