Edith Phillips
Church Hill - Edith Christine Phillips, eight-day-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Phillips, died at Holston Valley Community Hospital, 5:45 a.m. Thursday.
Surviving besides the parents are one sister, Kathy Phillips; one brother, Nathan Phillips, both of Church Hill; the maternal grandmother, Mrs. Lisiae Manis of Rogersville; and the paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. L.C. Phillips of Church Hill.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Long Bend Cemetery, Rev. Garland Hammonds will officiate. The body will be taken to the home of Mr. and Mrs. Madison Manis of Rt. 1 Church Hill at 4 p.m. Friday, Wilson Funeral Home is in charge of services.
