Carol worked as an exercise physiologist before obtaining her associate degree in nursing from Valencia College in 1994 and would work at Orlando Health as a cardiovascular intensive care nurse for ten years. She received her bachelor's degree in nursing from the University of Central Florida in 2005 and began her medical sales career with Hillrom in 2006 where she spent the last 15 years. Carol graduated from Liberty University in 2018 with her MBA and had over 35 years in the healthcare field.
Carol met and married Dr. Tim Moore and this Valentine's Day would have been their 18th anniversary. She absolutely loved the beach and her dogs. Carol and Tim would often fly their small plane and enjoyed traveling to the Bahamas. She never missed a Saturday of college football and was a fan of the Alabama Crimson Tide and the Florida Gators.
Carol was a leader in her community and headed the local chapters of the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses and Women Impacting the Nation as well as volunteering with the Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance. She was a devoted member of Bible Study Fellowship and a member of St. Andrew's Chapel in Sanford.
Carol is remembered and will be dearly missed by her husband, Dr. Tim Moore (Eustis, FL); father, Ron Muller (Deltona, FL), mother, Hilary Muller (Orlando, FL); siblings: Diana Holloway (Derek), Raquel Steinmeyer (Stephen), Michelle Sperry (Dan), Michael Muller (Nichole Richmond) and Andrea Maddox, all in the Orlando area; mother-in-law Kitty Barnes of Wilson, N.C., in-laws Phillip and Cindy Moore of Newport News, Laura and Frank Cernik of Raleigh, as well as 14 nieces and nephews and 1 grandniece.
Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation at Hamlin & Hilbish Funeral Home, 326 E Orange Ave in Eustis, FL on Friday, February 19 from 6:00-8:00 pm. A funeral ceremony will be held on Saturday, February 20 at St. Andrew's Chapel, 5525 Wayside Drive in Sanford, FL at 10:00 am. She will be laid to rest at St. Andrew's Chapel Cemetery.
