LeRoy R. Blazek, 32, of Prescott, was fatally injured in a one car accident in Adams County on Sunday. He died Monday, May 30, 1960 at Greater Community Hospital
in Creston.

LeRoy Robert Blazek was born at Prescott, March 4, 1928, and had lived in the Prescott community all his life. He was the son of Charles J. and Naomi Fisher Blazek. He was a famer.

He was married at Creston, March 16, 1952 to Wanda Hardisty. They have four children, Phyllis Jean, Robert James, Peggy Sue and Evelyn Lee.

Mr. Blazek had served in the armed forces during the Korean War and was a member of the Williamson American Legion post. He was a member of the Nevinville Methodist Church.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Nevinville Methodist Church. Rev. Robert W. Swick will officiate. Burial will be in the Bohemian National cemetery at Williamson, where military services will be conducted at the graveside by the Williamson American Legion post. His body is at Coens Home for Funerals in Creston but will be taken to the church Thursday morning to lie in state before the services. The casket will not be opened after the services. His family has suggested a memorial fund, for which contributions can be left at Coens Home for Funerals or Coens furniture store in Creston.

He is survived by his widow and children; his parents, Mr and Mrs. Charles J. Blazek of Prescott; a brother, Edward B. Blazek of Prescott; and four sisters, Mrs. Stanely (Catherine) Morris of Des Moines, Mrs. Earl (Betty) Maeder of Creston, Mrs. Veron (Barbara) Maeder of Creston, and Collen Blazek of Creston.

He was preceded in death by Charles J. Blazek Jr. and his wife from a automobile accident in Adams County on
August 6, 1956.
