We regret to have to record the death of Mr. George Adams, grocer and ironmonger of Market Hill, Southam, which took place at his residence on Saturday morning. Mr. Adams had been in ill health for some time, but the news of his death came as a shock to his numerous friends in Southam, seeing that a few days earlier he was reported as being a little better.

Mr. Adams was a member of the Grocers' Association, and was also Treasurer to Court Craven of the Ancient Order of Foresters. He had been a sidesman at the Parish Church for some years. Mr. Adams leaves a widow and three children, two by his first wife who died in 1918.
