Obituary:
"Mrs. Gilmore, age 72, died at the home of her son, J. S. Gilmore in the Cleveland neighborhood last Saturday night [Aug. 15]. The remains were laid to rest in the Santa Anna cemetery Sunday afternoon with impressive funeral services conducted by Rev. M. H. Major, pastor of the Methodist church of which organization deceased was a devoted and consistent member. The [Santa Anna] News extends its sympathy to the bereaved relatives." [Aug. 21, 1903].
