Betty Lou Knight Caldwell, age 87, of Orlando, FL, passed away on April 18, 2018.

Born on June 22, 1930, in Lancaster, SC, daughter of the late John Ray Knight (1894–1974) and Dallas Mae Usher Knight (1895–1967); wife of the late James Treville Caldwell, Sr. (1930–2003).

Loved spending time with family and being the most amazing daughter, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother; loved to cook for her family and spend time on the farm in her younger years. She would relax and watch some of her favorite shows, The Waltons and Little House on The Prairie; but she loved to be involved with her family and was exceedingly inquisitive. Betty was also highly involved with her church and would attend services and bible study as much as possible.

Also survived by her children, Donna Purtell, Barbara Caldwell, Jo Ann Fischer (Steve), Conan "CJ" Wilson, and Betti Jean Wilson (Lathadius); two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Also predeceased by her son, James T. Caldwell, Jr.

Visitation was held from 10:00 – 11:00 am, Tuesday, April 23, 2018, at Woodlawn Memorial Park and Funeral Home, Gotha, FL.

The funeral service followed at 11:00 am at the funeral home.
